These Terms of Use apply to your use of itsomkarpote.com (the "Site") and to any digital product you buy from it, including the e-book Ask Before You Pitch and its Field Kit. The Site is run by Omkar Pote ("I", "me"). By using the Site or making a purchase, you agree to these terms.

1. Educational content only

Everything on the Site and in my products is for general education and information. It is not legal, financial, tax or investment advice, and it does not consider your personal situation. I do not offer personalised investment advice through the Site. Rules about selling, telemarketing, advertising, personal data, insurance and investments change, so check the current official rules or ask a qualified professional before you act.

The views on the Site and in my products are my own. They do not represent any employer or organisation I work with now or have worked with in the past.

2. Digital products

The e-book and Field Kit are digital files in PDF format. Nothing is shipped physically. Prices are shown in Indian rupees (₹) and the final amount payable is shown on the checkout page before you pay.

After a successful payment, you are taken to a download page where you can download your files. Please save a copy to your device. If you have trouble downloading, contact me with your payment ID and I will help.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. By paying, you also agree to Razorpay's terms. I do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank details. Your order is confirmed only after the payment is successfully completed.

4. Your licence

When you buy a product, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read and use it for yourself. You may print the Field Kit worksheets for your own use. You may not:

share, copy, upload or distribute the files, or post them online;
resell, rent or give away the product, in whole or in part;
use the content to create competing products or courses.

Short quotes for review or discussion are welcome, with credit to the book and a link to the Site.

5. Refunds and cancellations

Because digital products are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, all sales are final and orders cannot be cancelled once payment is complete. I will issue a full refund if:

you were charged more than once for the same order; or
the file is faulty and I am unable to send you a working copy.

To request a refund, contact me within 7 days of purchase with your payment ID. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 7 working days, depending on your bank and Razorpay.

6. No guarantee of results

The book shares methods and examples to help you sell better. Your results depend on your effort, market, product and many other factors. I do not promise any specific income, sales or business outcome. Characters, businesses and conversations in the book are fictional and used to illustrate ideas.

Please do not misuse the Site, for example by trying to break its security, copying it automatically, or using it for anything unlawful.

9. Limitation of liability

The Site and products are provided "as is". I work to keep the content accurate but cannot guarantee it is complete, current or free of errors. To the fullest extent allowed by law, I am not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or products, and my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned.

The Site links to third-party services such as Razorpay, LinkedIn and X (Twitter). I am not responsible for their content or practices.

11. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies from the date shown above. Purchases are governed by the terms in place when you bought.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
